Join us in Worship Online
Starting September 8 we shift to our regular schedule, gathering for worship at the church on Sundays at 8 am and 10:30 am. We also continue to provide a Zoom live-stream of the 10:30 am Sunday service for those who are unable to attend in-person. Please join us for any of our Zoom online worship, education, meditation and other offerings throughout the week. All Zoom services (except Adult Education) can be found at https://zoom.us/j/360635588 Our Zoom meetings require a password: StStephen. Capitalize the two S, and no spaces and no s at the end! If you are new to Zoom we’ll be happy to help you get started.
St. Stephen’s offers many opportunities for worship. Our main Sunday service is graced by glorious music provided by our choir and strong congregational singing and is followed by a coffee hour for socializing. We are an inclusive church and welcome everyone to join our worship services and become a part of our church family.
All who are seeking a deeper relationship with Christ are invited to share in communion. At the proper time in the service, ushers will direct congregants to the altar to receive communion. If you desire to receive a blessing rather than communion simply cross your arms across your chest. To receive gluten-free bread please inform the server at the time of communion.
Our building is handicapped accessible: There is an elevator in the reception area opposite the Parish Administrator’s Office. Take the door next to the Baptismal Font to access it. A wheelchair is available for those who might need it. There are accessible restrooms on all three floors.
We welcome children at St. Stephen’s!
Child care is available during most 10:30 am Sunday services during the program year.
Godly Play, a wonderful program to teach children Bible stories, is offered each Sunday during our regular 10:30 service during the academic year.
Our older youth come together for Christian formation every other Saturday evening during the program year.
Children’s “activity bags” are available on the hooks at the back of the church and there is a special place in front of the first row of pews for children and their parents.
